Alice Temperley MBE founded her namesake brand, Temperley London in 2000, a year after graduating from the Royal College of Art. Alice Temperley continues to head up the creative direction of this British, independent brand as it enters its sixteenth year of business.

Temperley London is epitomised by modern bohemianism with a confident, feminine and effortless attitude while staying true to its British Heritage. Alice Temperley pioneers artisan techniques and intricate hand worked embellishment; an aesthetic synonymous with her creative style. With four ready-to-wear collections a year, Temperley London offers a comprehensive range of day wear as well as cocktail and evening wear.

Temperley Bridal, with two collections a year, is defined by ethereal, timeless silhouettes and is inspired by the romance and decadence of a bygone era. Temperley Bridal offers made-to-order, bespoke and ready-to-wear styles.

The brand currently operates five standalone stores, with its flagship store on Bruton Street in Mayfair, an exclusive bridal boutique on Colville Mews in Notting Hill and stores in Dubai (the Dubai Mall) and another in Doha Qatar (the Gate Mall). Temperley London is distributed in over 30 countries across upwards of 150 wholesale accounts.

Aside from fashion, Alice Temperley is an Ambassador for ‘Women for Women International’, helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives. Alice lives between London and Somerset with her 7 year old son, Fox.

The Winter’15 collection combines elongated and layered silhouettes with languid tailoring capturing the opulentmood of 1920’s Paul Poiret. The collection is relaxed and decadent, with tribal and nomadic inspiration.
Colours and fabrics are rich and warm – camel, teal, jet black, turmeric, and hibiscus juxtaposed with shimmering metallics, topaz blue and acidic pops of orange. Textured feather and crocodile jacquards mix with soft, fluid pale silks and sequins for the evening. Knitwear is key with layered knit jacquards and printed knits in tribal and feather inspired artworks.

Oversized luxurious coats, relaxed velvet tuxedo jackets, wrap-front trousers and circle legged jumpsuits bring a fresh, confident direction. Opulent lame’s, sequins and mirrors for evening and heavy tribal stitch works combined
with bold floral designs are worn with cashmere layers. Accessorised with men’s dinner scarves, hand embroidered cross shouldered bags and smoking slippers for an effortless yet elegant look.
